Denali - The Alaska Gas Pipeline will be the largest private construction project in North American history. It will consist of a gas treatment plant on the North Slope, a pipeline approximately 2,000 miles long to Alberta, Canada, and if required, a 1,500-mile long pipeline from Alberta to Chicago. A successful project will generate billions of dollars in sales, royalties and taxes; promote new oil and gas exploration; and create new jobs and business opportunities. When completed, Denali will deliver approximately 4 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day to North American markets, as well as providing the opportunity for access to gas for Alaskans and Canadians along the pipeline route.
